By registering with or applying through Gate Rock Capital, you confirm that your business is not a
Prohibited Business. Any account or application found to be associated with a Prohibited Business
may be declined, suspended, or terminated, as permitted by applicable law and our agreements.
Prohibited Businesses
Prohibited Businesses include, without limitation, businesses engaged in the following activities:
Adult entertainment and adult-oriented materials
- Adult entertainment and services
- Pornography or other obscene materials (including literature, imagery, or other media)
- Sexually-related services (including prostitution, escorts, pay-per-view adult content, or adult live chat)
Firearms and weapons
- Sale of firearms, ammunition, or weapons (including firearms vendors)
Gaming, gambling, and games of chance
- Online gaming and gambling (including lotteries, casinos, raffles, or internet gaming)
- Bidding fee auctions
- Sports forecasting or odds making
- Fantasy sports leagues with cash prizes
- Contests, sweepstakes, or games of chance
Marijuana and cannabis-related businesses

Direct marijuana-related businesses, including those that manufacture, distribute, or dispense marijuana
(i.e., businesses that directly touch the plant) and are generally state-licensed marijuana businesses
- Marijuana dispensaries
- Marijuana cultivation (growers)
- Marijuana oil production (THC extractors)
- Marijuana-infused product producers (e.g., edibles)
- Drug dispensaries (including cannabis-related businesses)
Money services businesses (MSBs) and certain financial services
- Money services businesses (MSBs), including money transmitters
- Check cashing
- Wire transfers
- Money orders
- Currency exchanges or currency dealers
- Collections agencies
- Lenders
- Investment companies
- Venture capital firms
- Banks and certain financial institutions
- Insurance agencies

for legal services provided by the firm
Bonding and related services

- Government entities, public administration, and similar bodies

High-risk or restricted merchant categories
- Art dealers
- Gold and precious metals dealers
- Horoscopes, psychic services, or fortune telling
- Pawn shops
- Birth tourism services
Dealers and certain retail categories
- Boat dealers
- Manufactured (mobile) home dealers
- Motorcycle, ATV, and other motor vehicle dealers
- New car dealers
- Used car dealers
- Recreational vehicle (RV) dealers
- Outdoor power equipment dealers
- Wireless (mobile phone) retail stores
Other restricted categories
- Mortgage brokers and non-mortgage loan brokers
- Multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses
- Private households
- Rooming and boarding houses
